Progress on the prototype! I can never wait to mock it up once color is on. Still much more to do including frets, clear coats, wiring and more. But man I’m excited for this one featuring…

The new offset is finally being prototyped. What a feeling for this to literally take shape. Some tweaks are still needed. But I’m really excited for how this is coming together. Plus, it should accommodate a tremolo nicely if desired.

This winter I’ve had to take a quick break from building to maintain and mod some instruments. Most recently that has included modding this signature Mustang for wide range pickups to have a HUGE sound.

Home and back at it! I left this one about half done before tour. But it feels great to jump right back in making the pickguard and wiring it up.

My office for the last few days and next few weeks. The first show was incredible! You should definitely catch Death Cab on this tour if you can!

A few pics from a really fun project I completed coming from the @indystringtheory Custom Shop. This J body was made for a customer from his family stash of 150y/o Birdseye veneer. The core is alder with black walnut to help bring out those curves!
